Job summary
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Community Dental Services (CDS) at East Cheshire NHS Trust, as a dental nurse, supporting the service in delivering a high standard of care to our patients. This will be a part time, fixed term position until 31 May 2026, which will give the successful applicant an insight & experience of working within the CDS.
We are seeking a highly motivated, caring and compassionate qualified dental nurse, to join our team and help us deliver a high standard of care to our patients. The role can be challenging on occasions but extremely rewarding.

The Community Dental Service is an integral part of East Cheshire NHS Trust, delivering special care dentistry and paediatric exodontia services, to patients referred to us.
There will be an opportunity to work across all CDS clinics and supporting in theatres at the hospital sites .
Full DCP registration with the GDC is required. A post certification in dental nurse sedation is desirable.
The successful candidate will be based at Church View PCC, Nantwich.
Hours of work - up to 22.5 hours per week (negotiable)

Main duties of the job
The post holder will work clinically with a dentist and carry out decontamination duties, as part of the dental nursing team.
Good clinical and patient-management skills will enable the post-holder to achieve a high level of personal job satisfaction and provide excellent patient care .
