We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and flexible administrative assistant to join our friendly multidisciplinary team at East Cheshire NHS Trust.
Working as part of a flexible & hard working team, the post holder will provide administration and clerical support to the medical secretary.
This post is on the bank - zero hour contract

Main duties of the job
Main duties include the tracking of all case notes in your possession via the Patient Management System, request case notes from the medical records library, secretaries and various other departments, using the NHS.net email system or by telephone. Accurate filing of letters and investigations within the appropriate section of the patient case notes. Electronically sign-off letters on the Medisec database, sort and fold letters into envelopes, for distribution to GP's, patients, various departments.
Routine clerical duties such as distributing and despatching mail, photocopying, retrieval of case notes for various departments as requested. Answer the telephone and wherever possible deal with enquiries, or take messages and pass to the appropriate person to respond. Communicate effectively with various staff and departments in the hospital when passing on information, requesting case notes and acquiring results. Manual handling and heavy lifting.
You will need to be able to work using your own initiative and as part of the team.
