An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Nurse Associate to join our innovative integrated Community Nursing and Therapy Team in Macclesfield, Cheshire.
The Community Nursing Teams of East Cheshire are leading the way in integrated working. Closer working relationships with colleagues in Social Services have been formed, as part of working aligned to Care Communities with new programmes and projects being developed with other specialties, supporting multi-professional working.
Being part of our friendly and supportive team is an opportunity to take forward the expanding role of community nursing within the multi-disciplinary neighbourhood teams to meet the long term condition agenda and the needs of our population. Our dynamic management team are supportive and open to ideas and innovation. It is expected you will have an understanding and commitment to the modernisation of community nursing.
You will have varied exposure to a range of clients with differing needs ranging from wound dressings to end of life and everything in between, no two days are ever the same!

The service covers from 8am until 5pm seven days a week, on a shift pattern of 9am-5pm or 8am-4pm

Main duties of the job
The Nursing Associate will work independently to support the delivery of patient centered approach and of effective nursing care, providing compassionate, safe and effective care and support to people in a range of care settings as part of the nursing team.
The Nursing Associate will provide holistic and person centred care and support for people across the sphere of nursing and communicating effectively at all times within the team, other health care professionals and with the patient family, carers/ visitors.
The Nursing Associate will work independently but with the support and under the leadership of registered nurses, working within aspects of the nursing process to ensure high standards and a safe environment are maintained.
To maintain a patient orientated approach towards care delivery, promoting a rehabilitative and self-care approach.
To put person centered values into practice and to promote dignity in your day to day work with the individuals you support.
