Job summary
We are looking for someone to work alongside the Night Radiographers here at the Radiology Department at Macclesfield. You would participate in a shift based role to assist in transporting the patients from the emergency department for imaging procedures. Assisting other members of the team and caring for our patients .
We are a small, friendly department who ensure an efficient and professional standard for patients requiring diagnostic imaging.
Hours per week: 23
Main duties of the job
Transport patients between departments for imaging.
Chaperone and assist Radiographers in positioning patients for imaging procedures, including manual handling.
Communicating with the Multi-disciplinary team to ensure, safe and efficient services for our patients.
Ensuring a clean and well stocked environment.
Recording data on our Radiology IT systems.
