An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Medical Workforce Team for the role of Medical Workforce Manager (Band 7) on a permanent basis.
You should have excellent organisational skills with the ability to work of your own initiative and think calmly and logically under pressure. You should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a positive attitude to maintaining high standards at all times. Experience of managing a team in a busy office environment and using management information systems is essential.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone wishing to progress their career within medical staffing/workforce in a role which will have a Trust-wide impact and reach.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the management of the Medical Workforce Team, ensuring that a high quality, efficient and effective service is provided across the clinical directorates and providing effective leadership, management and development to the team.
They will also act as a key point of contact for senor clinicians with regards to medical workforce issues and will take the lead on medical and dental policy development and audit work, working in partnership with Clinical Leads, HR and LNC colleagues.
They will be responsible for medical workforce initiatives including Job planning and the post holder will work closely with the PGME team, eRostering, Recruitment Team and HR teams to ensure a seamless service.
