As a Senior Pharmacy Technician, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic team, contributing to the enhancement of our services and the delivery of exceptional patient care. Main duties of the job
- To ensure the safe and effective daily operation of the pharmacy distribution services for East Cheshire NHS Trust.
- To be the Pharmacy lead for the distribution of medicines
- To provide operational management of pharmacy assistants working within the Pharmacy distribution area.
- To provide a medication stock replenishment service to the wards and to ensure that all medicines are distributed in a safe, effective and efficient manner in line with all legal and accepted standards of practice to wards, departments and clinics at East Cheshire NHS Trust and under any service level agreement with other agencies.
- Line Manager for allocated staff within the pharmacy technical team, including pharmacy technicians and assistants.

- Accredited Accuracy Checking Diploma
- Leadership/Management qualification of equivalent experience.
