The Management Secretary Team at Macclesfield Hospital, East Cheshire NHS Trust are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Management Secretary to join their busy team assisting with a variety of administration and customer service tasks.
This role will provide you with:
- The opportunity to develop your office administration and customer service skills within the Management Secretary/PA setting.
- Enable you to further develop a number of transferable skills within the NHS, providing an excellent base for a future career in this sector.
- You will develop your understanding of the management support process within the NHS.

Main duties of the job
This role will also involve completing The Business Administration Level 3 course through Macclesfield College. The apprenticeship is a paid position, together with dedicated study time to undertake training in combination withwork experience in an environment where YOU can make a difference.
The position will be paid under Annex 21 of NHS Terms and Conditions, further details of this can be found by searching for 'Annex 21 NHS'.
Once the post holder has passed the Business Administration Level 3 course, they will progress to a full-time permanent band 3 contract within the team
The hours: 37.5 hours per week to be worked Monday to Friday.
