Job summary
The East Cheshire Trust is seeking a highly motivated enthusiastic professional to work in the Estates and Facilities Team as the Head of Technical Services.
The successful candidate will be responsible to the Associate Director for the Estates & Facilities Compliance, Digital Systems and Trust Security Lead.
The post holder will also have the responsibility of the Trust Decontamination Lead for Equipment and Sterilisation service, be the Trust Food Safety Expert and have financial accountability and management of the Estates & Facilities Technical Services budget.As a member of the Estates and Facilities Senior Management Team responsibilities will also include contributing to the directorate's business plan and strategic direction and effective contract monitoring.
The successful candidate will need to be strong leader with a proven track record in management, have outstanding communication and organisational skills and will attend senior level meetings for the Trust.
Predominately based at Macclesfield Hospital but occasional travel to other sites in the community may be required.This is an exciting time to be joining the department with significant investment and development of the current Estate.
This is a permanent post.
37.5 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
The Head of Technical Services has Senior managerial, professional, and highly technical responsibility for Estates & Facilities (E&F) Trust Security Lead, Compliance & Health & Safety Lead, Strategic Digital Systems Lead, Decontamination Lead for Equipment and Sterilisation service, and will also be the Trust Food Safety Expert, the Lead for all E&F Digital systems and technical applications that E&F require to deliver services daily, will deputise for the Associate Director of Estates & Facilities, as and when required. This role is aligned to the other three Heads of Services within E&F
