Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Macmillan Colorectal Associate Specialist Nurse Macclesfield District General Hospital. You will become part of a highly experienced and dedicated team providing comprehensive quality care to the colorectal service in this modern district general hospital.

Hours per week: 37.5

Main duties of the job

Expert practitioner who can support the Lead Colorectal Nurse specialist in the delivery of specialist Colorectal cancer care, including assessment of complex care needs, and assist in developing and implementing programmes of care.

The ASN will assist in facilitating, enabling and supporting the development of this service based on best practice ensuring delivery of high quality, effective and efficient care within Colorectal.

The post holder will assist in developing and delivering high quality patient centred care and working with the associated clinical team to ensure this is incorporated within the Directorate and Trust objectives.
