Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Maternity support worker with a passion to provide high quality family focused maternity care to our pregnant women and families of East Cheshire.
Under the supervision and in direct supervision of the registered midwives you will assist in the delivery of care through the antenatal period in our Antenatal Clinic.
Hours per week: 20.00
Main duties of the job
You will be supporting the multidisciplinary team with clinics held in the antenatal period. You will also undertake venepuncture, recording of maternal observations and supporting expectant women and their families through their pregnancy journey.
Depending on your experience, on the job and inhouse training will be required to ensure knowledge and skills are in line with regional and national frameworks.
