Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our dynamic team of ACP's working across acute medicine (main areas include MAU and SDEC). You will be responsible for a diverse patient caseload, allowing you to gain expert clinical experience in a wide range of patient conditions and practical procedures. We are passionate about improving our patient care and experience and in ensuring the continuous development of our workforce; the ACP for Acute Medicine will be an integral part of these developments.
Hours per week: 19.5
Main duties of the job
The Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) will work at an advanced level focusing on the care of the acutely unwell medical patient, exercising a high degree of professional autonomy and demonstrating complex decision making.
The ACP will utilise advanced clinical assessment and treatment skills in order to deliver comprehensive, holistic clinical assessment, providing diagnosis, interventions and treatment plans within their professional scope of practice.
The post holder will work across the Medical Admissions Unit (MAU) (and other medical areas as patient needs dictate) focusing on the assessment and care of the acutely ill medical patient providing clinical cover across the 7-day ACP rota period
