Job summary
The post holder will act as a first point of contact for Nurse Bank queries and provide an efficient administration service to support the deployment of staff. They will take responsibility for booking of staff and allocation to ward areas as appropriate, including regular contact with bank staff and agency contacts and Matron of the Day.
Hours per week: 15.00
Main duties of the job
Proactive allocation of bank and agency staff to vacant posts as identified on the roster, liaising with bank staff and agencies as appropriate.
Effective use of the E-roster and Safecare systems to manage deployment of temporary staff.
Deal directly with wards and staff regarding their staffing needs, electronically or face to face.
Sign in staff checking valid ID if required.
Undertake any other duties that are commensurate with the grade and responsibility of this post.
