Person Specification

Education and Qualifications

Essential

• Foundation Degree in health.
• Evidence of work based competencies associated with the role
• GCSE or equivalent English Maths Grades A-C
• NVQ level 3 in healthcare related area
• computer literate to a level consistent with everyday use of software programmes System 1 email and internet

Desirable

• Certificate in Higher Education in Effective Practice in Care or equivalent.

Occupational Experience

Essential

• previous experience of working within a health care setting for a minimum of 3 years
• People Management experience
• Knowledge of how to deal with non routine activity EG problem solving and work allocation
• Proven ability of working on own initiative

Desirable

• driving license
• supervisory experience
• experience of dealing with difficult situations
• clear understanding of the needs of patients who require enablement services
• awareness of professional boundaries and responsibilities
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• high level of initiative and proven organizational skills
• ability to manage heavy workload without supervision
