Person Specification

Essential criteria

Essential

• MBBS
• 12 year post graduate experience
• 6 years experience in relevent specialty
• Meets professional health requirements in line with GMC
• Demonstrable skills in both written and oral english language
• Experience in making clinical decisions and managing risk.

Desirable

• Research Skills: demonstrates understanding of the principles of research, evidence of relevant academic and research achievements.
• Teaching: evidence of experience in teaching where required in the job.

Qualifications

Essential

• Registerable Medical Degree, eg MBBS.
• 12 Year post-graduate experience
• 6 years in a relevant specialty
• GMC registration

Desirable

• Advanced therapeutic endoscopic procedures including bowel screening
• Evidence of participation in Clinical Audit
• Evidence of involvement in Clinical Research
