Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust, in rotational posts covering various specialties, on a fixed term basis, August 2023-August 2024.
Based at either Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby Hospital, or Scunthorpe General Hospital, we are looking to recruit Trust Grade F2 Level (Non training) Doctors to join our existing team.
The advertised full-time post of Trust Grade F2 includes on-call rota. We can offer training and development opportunities and will support our workforce to enable them to provide a first class service. Main duties of the job
To be based in Various Specialties
It is essential to appropriately document history taking, examination, investigations requested with results and a plan of action to discharge after treatment or admit. (document time of action for every step.)
The doctors in the department work a full-shift rota
As a trust we are encouraging doctors to sign up for an e-portfolio and although this post is not recognised for training we will support doctors with achieving their competences and also assign an educational/clinical supervisor, the same as training doctors at the same grade. Trust Grade doctors are expected to apply for study leave and attend appropriate courses.
Consultants and Specialty Doctors or Registrars are available on the shop floor to provide supervision/opinion for patient management.
The postholder will be trained in the techniques of composing discharge summaries which should be completed and sent promptly to the General Practitioners. Specific arrangements for these summaries vary with each Consultant.

- Registration Full registration with the GMC, and a Licence to Practise.
