Job summary

At present, University Hospitals of North Midlands is unable to offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 roles, as these positions do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.

In relation to Band 3 Senior Clinical Support Worker roles, we are currently able to recruit successfully from the domestic labour market and have a sufficient pool of suitably qualified and appointable candidates. As a result, visa sponsorship is not available for this role at this time. This position is kept under regular review and may change in the future should labour market conditions or service requirements alter.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Staffordshire Children's Hospital at Royal Stoke University Hospital, (SCH@RSUH) for Senior Care Support Workers.

SCH@RSUH sits within the University Hospital of the North Midlands NHS Trust which serves the population of Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire and beyond providing both local and tertiary services.

We are looking for a compassionate, motivated, and patient-centred Senior Care Support Workers to join our team at SCH@RSUH. You will play a vital role in supporting children, young people, and their families throughout their healthcare journey, ensuring high-quality, safe, and holistic care.

Main duties of the job

Working under the supervision of registered nurses and other clinicians, you will help deliver hands-on care, provide emotional reassurance, and contribute to creating a positive experience in our paediatric services.
