Job summary
At present, University Hospitals of North Midlands is unable to offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 roles, as these positions do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.
Due to internal promotion within the team, an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Pathology Stores to join a small well established team.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to assist in the receipt, issue and storage of Pathology supplies in accordance with Pathology Directorate and UHNM policies and procedures.
o Perform a range of routine and non-routine tasks within Pathology
o To work within the written Policies and Procedures of the Department especially in relation to
Health and Safety and Quality.
o Will maintain and develop the Stock Control System.
o To be an efficient and flexible member of the Pathology Stores Team assisting in the delivery of the Pathology Service, including maintaining the Top Up Service to the Laboratories, Offices and other users within Pathology along with replenishing and organising of The Lab Coat Room.
o The Post also involves booking Transport of Samples and Goods via Couriers, Trust Transport, Blood Bikes and Taxis via Trust Estates to various external locations.
