Job summary
Role Summary
The Digital Midwife will support the Lead Digital Midwife in managing, developing and delivering the local and national digital agenda. This will include the operation, service support arrangements and sustainability of the electronic patient record systems.
Main duties of the job
Support the Lead Digital Midwife in the delivery of the digital agenda.
Support delivery of workstreams to agreed time and quality standards.
Deputise for the Lead Digital Midwife as required.
Work in partnership with the clinical and departmental leads, system administrators, technical services and third-party support partners.
Assist with planning, assessing, developing and continuously improving services against local and national guidance.
Liaise with support partners in the delivery of services, user training, redesign, enhancements and configuration.
Work collaboratively to ensure the electronic systems deliver the clinical records to the highest possible standard.
Work effectively within the multidisciplinary team and demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the digital systems, providing system user support, promotion of good practice, assessment of system change and integration with other health solutions.
Undertake auditing and reporting on system utilisation.
