Main duties of the job
The Strategic Procurement Manager Non Medical will be a vital member of the NMBC Senior Management team, managing a team of staff responsible for the procurement of all Non - Medical Contracts for the Royal Wolverhampton & Walsall Healthcare Trusts reporting in to the Head of Strategic Procurement - Non Medical.
This post will be integral in supporting the Department in the delivery of all strategic objectives of all Trusts represented. Support the Departments national / regional obligations and the implementation of the local Procurement strategy to meet the needs of the host Trust's, customer base requirements, maximise value for money, minimising operational / commercial risk whilst ensuring compliance with EU Procurement Legislation, UK Law and the Trust's Standing Financial Instructions.

This post sits in the Strategic Procurement Team and is based within the NMBC at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust and Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust sites, reporting to the Head of Strategic Procurement - Non Medical. The role is directly responsible for Strategic Procurement and commercial, strategic duties within RWT & WHT.
