Job summary

The assessment of patient needs the development of programs of care and for the implementation and evaluation of these programs.

Carry out all relevant forms of care.

Provide skilled assistance within the Ambulatory Department environment and to continue to develop enhanced diagnostic/investigative/treatment/surgical or recovery skills related to the ambulatory specialty, commensurate with your level of competence

Supervise and educate junior colleagues.

Take an active part in the teaching of both qualified and unqualified staff, and students from the multidisciplinary team

To present a positive, professional image of the organization and the ambulatory team

To take the leads for a 'specific' specialty/clinic,e.g lower urinary tract assessment (to ensure expert knowledge and trouble shoot in that area of expertise). The type of speciality/clinic varies.

To order relevant lower urinary tract assessment investigations, fully meeting Irmer regulations.

To take charge of an area in the absence of the person who has continuing responsibility.

  • Demonstrable evidence of Teaching and assessing in the last twelve month period.
