Job summary
To build on the current practice of achieving healthy birth outcomes for babies who are born at University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust, and to enable implementation of the Saving Babies Lives Care Bundle Version 3 (SBLCBv3) and Maternity Care Bundle .
Main duties of the job
Lead and facilitate a programme to enable the delivery of the SBLCBv3 and Maternity Care Bundle within UHNM which encompasses:
o Reducing smoking in pregnancy
o Risk assessment, prevention and surveillance of pregnancies at risk of Fetal growth restriction (FGR)
o Raising awareness of reduced fetal movement (RFM)
o Reducing preterm birth
o Diabetes in pregnancy
o VTE
oPre hospital and acute care
o Epilepsy in pregnancy
o Maternal mental health
o Obstetric haemorrhage
