Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist with IBMS Certificate of Competence to join the Immunology Team at University Hospitals of North Midlands (UHNM) based at the Royal Stoke University Hospital site.
We are a small , clinically led team, providing an Immunology service to the NMCPS network of 4 hospitals across Staffordshire and Cheshire Clinical Immunology . We hold UKAS accreditation ISO 15189:2022 and are an IBMS approved training laboratory. As this is a part time post, we are looking for a well organised individual able to undertake self directed learning.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicants will participate in all aspects of the Immunology service following completion of the IBMS Specialist Portfolio for Immunology. This includes maintenance and running of automated analysers, processors, performing manual assays and IIF.
