The Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse role at UHNM will provide opportunities to develop specialised clinical and managerial skills to support babies and their families throughout their neonatal journey.
Main duties of the job
Demonstrate practical and theoretical knowledge, competence and skills to support babies, families and staff within the NICU
Contribute towards developing a culture of learning and innovation, which supports service improvement & education.
Plan and manage competing demands of the job role, using prioritisation and delegation skills, whilst promoting the ethos of 'team-working' to provide a high quality and responsive service.

The Senior Clinical Staff Nurse will work closely, with the Senior Leadership Team in the delivery of evidence based practice: ensuring patients receive safe, effective and professional patient care, to meet the Directorate & Trust safety agenda, and matching parent and family expectations.
