Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an admin and clerical role within the Department of Respiratory Medicine. .
You will play a crucial role within the busy secretarial team, supporting the team with a variety of office duties.
Main duties of the job
Communication & Relationships Skills
- There is a requirement to exchange verbal and written information with patients, staff and carers, requiring tact and diplomacy. The post holder will be expected to deal with queries from anxious patients and carers.
- Responsibility for handling telephone and other communications with sensitivity and confidentiality using personal judgement to assess each situation and to deal with accordingly.
- To deliver a high standard of communication to build and maintain good working relationships
Knowledge, Training & Experience
The post holder will be qualified to NVQ level 2, RSA 2 or equivalent.
Good general education
Previous experience in a clerical post
Experience of computerised systems
Personal/Professional Development
