Are you detail-oriented and passionate about making a difference in healthcare? We are looking for two Financial Management Assistants to play a key role in supporting the Financial Management Team for both our Planned and Unplanned Care Groups initially.
These positions focus on producing accurate monthly management accounts, providing financial advice to non-clinical budget holders, and supporting directorate teams with timely reporting and income recovery.
Main duties of the job
We offer acomprehensive induction programme to give you a solid understanding of NHS finance and how our Trust operates. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to improving patient care.
The main duties of each finance role include reviewing income and expenditure, preparing journals and accruals, meeting with budget holders, and maintaining the integrity of financial and staffing budgets.
The roles are both primarily based at Royal Stoke University Hospital and uses a hybrid working model with a minimum of two days on-site per week.
