Job summary
University Hospitals of North Midlands is currently unable to provide sponsorship this role. This is in accordance with UKVI guidelines and legislation, as these roles do not meet the skill nor salary threshold for sponsorship. If you hold a graduate visa, you are welcome to apply for this role however it is important to note that UHNM will be unable to offer sponsorship at the end of your graduate visa, you must also have at least six months until your graduate visa expires at the start of your employment for training and operational reasons.

If you are shortlisted for an interview for this role, you must bring evidence of the following qualifications:
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or Level 2 Functional Skills for Maths and English.
If you hold overseas GCSE equivalent qualifications, you will need to bring an ECCTIS comparability statement for you GCSE equivalent qualifications along with your original certificate
- A Full Care CertificateORNVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (we can only accept NVQ's from a regulated awarding body).
If you do not bring the above qualifications to your interview, then the interview will not proceed.
Main duties of the job
Are you an experienced Nursing Assistant/Healthcare Support Worker looking for an opportunity to utilise your proven clinical skills to provide acute care to patients in their own homes? If so, this unique role is for you.
The Acute Care at Home service is a partnership between the University Hospital of North Midlands (UHNM), University Hospital of Derby and Burton (UHDB), Royal Wolverhampton Trust (RWT) and Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust (MPFT).
The successful applicants will be experienced in acute care delivery and will join an integrated, collaboratively focused team, employing proactive clinical practice and knowledge, to provide clinical assessment, monitoring and support, as part of our urgent care pathways.
