Main duties of the job
We are a unit that comprises of 28 beds and care for the needs of patients under the specialities of ENT, Maxio -facial, Onco plastics and plastic surgery, general surgery and ophthalmology.
We are looking for a senior clinical nursing assistant band 3 that has a caring nature and skills to care for a complex group of patients that include having undergone major head and neck surgery. Therefore you must have previous caring experience and have a understanding of the proud to care documentation and its importance in maintaining patient safety and quality.
You are required to cover over a 24 hour period - therefore the post holder must be able to work both night and day shifts. It is imperative that you can work night shifts.
You need to be able to prioritise your work load, be able to work as a member of a team, be professional at all times, communicate well and have good time management.

They should be able to work independently within their sphere of nursing while under the supervision of registered nurses.
