Job summary

The Oncology, Haematology, Immunology & Allergy, Palliative Care and Medical Physics Directorate is looking for Quality Lead to lead our governance, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance agenda across multiple sites. This is a pivotal role for a motivated and collaborative leader who is passionate about driving continuous improvement and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

The post holder will support the strategic direction and provide hands-on leadership for our clinical quality and governance functions acting as the primary contact for all clinical quality and governance issues.

This is a unique opportunity to develop and deliver robust governance and quality framework, drive quality improvement programmes, clinical audits and regulatory compliance.

The post holder will promote a culture of safety, transparency and learning across multidisciplinary teams providing professional leadership, training, and support to colleagues at all levels.

  • Experience in project management/ monitoring systems
  • Experience of analysing data and presenting in a user-friendly format
  • Involvement with inspections, accreditations and external reviews
  • Experience in the field of quality, safety and compliance

  • Experience of working in the NHS, or a public sector environment
  • Good understanding of wider governance agenda
