University Hospitals of North Midlands is currently unable to provide sponsorship this role. The role will include working alongside the safeguarding Team (Lead for Vulnerable people) and HR people teams in providing admin support for sexual safety at work agenda and managing allegations against persons in a position of Trust . The team sensitively handle and process highly confidential complex information and adhere to GDPR legislation.
You will provide direct administrative and confidential support to the lead for vulnerable people who is responsible for managing allegations against person in a position of Trust, also supporting the sexual safety liaison officer, working alongside HR People teams. Your role will involve liaison with stakeholders and other departments or organisations, processing legal paperwork, organising electronic diaries, meeting administration/minute taking, typing of letters/correspondence, maintaining accurate recording of information on Excel database and digital filing of records.
Main duties of the job
Provide full administrative support to the Lead to Vulnerable People
Assist and compile reports for the department management team relating to business performance/ activity data.
To provide general secretarial assistance with any aspect of the department's administrative processes including but not limited to processing of legal documentation, liaison with HR People Teams and Care Groups.
Triage incoming correspondence, respond to queries within limitations and escalate as appropriate to colleagues.
Act as the first point of contact for telephone enquiries, signpost to policies, intranet and available information and services available to the sexual safety at work agenda and managing allegations against people in a position of Trust.
Maintain detailed accurate recording of any concerns reported for escalation and action to the lead for vulnerable people and sexual safety liaison officer where applicable

Ensure any concerns raised by internal teams or external agencies (police, Local authority, Commissioners or Regulators) are escalated appropriately either to the lead for vulnerable people and sexual safety liaison officer.
