Job summary
University Hospitals of North Midlands is currently unable to provide sponsorship this role. The University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust North Midlands and Black Country Procurement Group is responsible for the Strategic and Operational Procurement for UHNM (Royal Stoke University Hospital, County Hospital, Royal Wolverhampton Trust , Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust and Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust ) and 36 partner NHS organisations within the Staffordshire, Shropshire, Cheshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Lancashire Health Economies.
The North Midlands and Black Country Procurement Group is responsible for the management and control of expenditure in excess of £330 million across the local health economy.
Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Black Country Healthcare Procurement team as a Procurement Assistant.
This is a varied role and will involve providing Operational Procurement support across all aspects of low value procurement.
Please note that this role is based at Wolverhampton Civic Centre however there will be a requirement to work from multiple sites across the Black Country as part of the Procurement Team for Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
