Job summary

University Hospitals of North Midlands is currently unable to provide sponsorship for Band 2 and Band 3 roles. This is in accordance with UKVI guidelines and legislation, as these roles do not meet the skill nor salary threshold for sponsorship. Medical Laboratory Assistant

25 hours per week Mon-Fr 5pm -10pm

We are looking for a Medical Laboratory Assistant to work within our Infection Sciences Department. at the Royal Stoke University Hospital site. The post holder will be required to perform a range of routine and non-routine tasks within Pathology following Laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including the Pathology Quality Policy, to provide clerical and technical support to Biomedical Scientists in order to ensure a high quality service in all areas of the relevant Pathology Discipline.

The post will be based in Infection Sciences ( Bacteriology) at Royal Stoke University Hospital.
