Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated monitor to join the Research and Innovation Directorate at University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity for a research monitor to further develop skills within research to support the Quality Assurance Manager in the development, maintenance and review of UHNM Quality Management System. This will include maintaining and improving the policies and processes that ensure UHNM adherence to legislation, relevant national standards and guidance.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking a confident and experienced individual, with experience in the field of monitoring for research. This key role requires the individual to have excellent communication skills at all levels; are confident working in partnerships and on their own, developing relationships and working as part of a team within the research environment. You will be responsible for ensuring that Research trials are monitored in line with the departmental monitoring policy and are effective by ensuring that all aspects of the research study cycle are completed.
