Join our team as a Recruitment Officer and play a vital role in supporting the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust to deliver exceptional care through the recruitment of talented and dedicated professionals.

Main duties of the job

As a Recruitment Officer, you will:

  • Provide a high-quality, efficient recruitment administration service to various divisions within the Trust.

  • Co-ordinate the recruitment process, from placing job advertisements and arranging interviews to processing pre-employment checks and onboarding new starters.

  • Ensure compliance with NHS employment standards, including criminal records checks, professional registrations, and employment eligibility.

  • Maintain accurate records and personnel files, supporting the delivery of a seamless recruitment experience.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers, payroll, and external agencies to address queries and ensure a smooth recruitment journey.
