An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recruitment Administrator to work within our busy recruitment office based at UHNM.

We are looking for a highly organised and efficient Recruitment Administrator to join our busy and dynamic department at UHNM. As part of the Recruitment Team, you will play a vital role in supporting the recruitment process and ensuring a smooth candidate journey. You will be the first point of contact for all recruitment-related inquiries, providing excellent customer service while maintaining accuracy in all administrative tasks.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering phones and serving as the first point of contact for all recruitment queries.
  • Managing the recruitment mailbox, responding promptly to inquiries and directing queries as appropriate.
  • Processing pre-employment checks such as DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) and Occupational Health checks.
  • Conducting qualification checks for all new hires to ensure compliance with recruitment requirements.
  • Data input and maintenance, ensuring that all candidate information is accurately recorded in the system and relevant documentation is filed accordingly.
  • Supporting the wider Recruitment Team with general administrative duties.

About You:

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information with a high level of professionalism.
  • Familiarity with NHS recruitment processes and pre-employment checks (desirable but not essential).
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with data entry.
