Job summary

We have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Radiographer to join our friendly team at the Haywood Hospital.

We are looking for a motivated individual to work within our busy department undertaking general radiography examinations.

As a band 5 radiographer, you will predominately be based at the Haywood hospital in Burslem however there would be opportunity for you to work at our other community sites alongside senior radiographers.

At the Haywood we have 2 DR x-ray rooms and a DR mobile. We are currently in the process of having one of our rooms replaced.

We are a small but welcoming team.

Main duties of the job

Successful applicants will predominately be based at the Haywood x-ray department. We cover 3 other community sites; Leek, Longton and Cobridge. Leek Moorlands and the Haywood have a nurse led minor injuries unit. There would be scope for any successful candidate to rotate, where clinical demand allows, alongside our senior radiographers who rotate across all 4 sites.

At the Haywood, we undertake a wide variety of general examinations including but not limited to rheumatology, minor injuries, research and ward work.

This band 5 role is perfect to consolidate your knowledge whilst working within our very busy department.
