Job summary

Are you an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner with a passion for strategic development of advanced clinical practice? Join our dynamic CeNREE team at the University Hospital of North Midlands, a leading acute hospital, as our Corporate Lead ACP.

In this role you willfacilitate the standardisation of Advanced Clinical Practice/ACP roles across UHNM, play a lead role in the strategic development and evaluation of advanced clinical practice, establish credible working relationships at all levels of the organisation and work alongside the trust senior leadership team to guide and support divisional leadership teams in the transformation of the workforce, developing an ACP workforce to meet the trust vision and objectives.

The post holder will practice as a senior clinical expert. They will work within their area of clinical expertise practicing independently and autonomously seeing undifferentiated patients with undiagnosed problems with minimal or no supervision. The post holder will maintain a clinical component to their role, this role focusing on management, leadership, strategy development and innovation.

Main duties of the job

.75 hours

?support standardisation of the ACP role and implementation of the ACP strategy

?overall lead responsibility in providing effective professional leadership and governance to the ACPs across the trust.

? Responsible for providing professional expertise relating to ACPs

? To define current processes, facilitate discussions and advise colleagues as to how best practice might be adopted

?develop professional relationships both regionally and nationally to share best practice.

?develop and lead the UHNM trainee and qualified ACP forums

?Responsible for developing policy and procedure relating to ACPs

? Co-ordinate audit, research and development initiatives relating to ACP roles as part of the CeNREE team

? Alongside the divisional senior teams manage and support submissions of future ACP business plans and support the current ACP budget.

? Budgetary responsibilities.

?To lead and promote compliance with best practice across the trust, with a particular focus on developing mechanisms for sharing best practice and enabling the development of clinical networking
