Job summary
Following successful promotion of the previous postholder we are looking for an experienced paediatric dietitian with an interest in home tube feeding to support our service to babies, children, adolescents, their families and carers who are enterally fed at home.
You will work closely with the lead Paediatric dietitian for home enteral feeding, the paediatric dietetics team, nutritional nurse and the wider MDT who support these families.
The post holder will join MDT case reviews and clinics at UHNM, visit families in their own homes and other care settings such as schools and the local childrens hospice.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will be responsible for providing dietetic care in the management of children with a variety of conditions who require tube feeding at home to provide specialised skills, knowledge and advice in this area.
You willsupport the service lead and dietetic HEF team in the development, organisation and delivery of care within this area.
You will support the paediatric team lead in delivery of the children's services at UHNM.
