Role SummaryoTriage relevant Urology New referrals into appropriate Clinic settingoFacilitate Urology 2ww and None urgent first point of contact clinicsoFacilitate Nurse led face to face and Telephone FU Urology clinicsoProactively plan inpatient on-going care needs to facilitate timely transfer into urology nurse led ambulatory service.oWork collaboratively with emergency portals and community service with the aim to avoid acute hospital admissionsoSupport the development of urological nurse led services.oSupport the development of clinical practice through research and education of the multi-disciplinary teamoEvaluate care through quality assurance initiatives and assessment of clinical outcomesoBe an expert resource for other healthcare practitionersoEnsure that the highest standards of clinical care are deliveredoThe Post holder will provide specialist education and training to other staff and students.
