Job summary
- The Lead Care Coach has responsibility for the management of the Care Coach team as well as the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes for Health Care Support Workers and Maternity Support Workers and the setting of standards that ensures safeand effective clinical practice.
- The Lead Care Coach will facilitate innovative and evidence based practice through professional leadership and supporting the
- The Lead Care Coach will liaise with all members of the multidisciplinary team and facilitate a collaborative approach to patient care as well as our external educational partners. The Lead Care Coach will report directly to the Lead Nurse for Workforce and Education.
- The Lead Care Coach will act as a credible and professional role model and encourage and empower other staff to develop both personally and professionally to achieve their maximum potential. They will create a positive and supportive work environment for staff.
- The Lead Care Coach will provide clear, consistent and accurate advice, for Nursing assistants, ward managers, Matrons and Clinical staff about the Nursing assistant's role and its development.
- The post holder will use high level communication skills, written and verbal and a have an ability to engage with partnership colleagues.
