An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 12 month fixed term contract or secondment opportunity for a Band 3 Medical Support Secretary within the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Directorate at the University Hospitals of North Midlands that could be right for you.

The position is full time - Monday to Friday

Main duties of the job

We are looking to appoint a Medical Support Secretary to the Obstetric & Gynaecology Secretarial Team. This would be an ideal opportunity for anyone who has experience of working in the NHS. You will have experience of administration duties and dealing with members of the public.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding empathy and compassion
  • Able to use their own initiative
  • Organisational Skills
  • Experience of Microsoft Office packages
  • Clinical typing experience
  • Understanding of clinics and appointments
  • Understanding of Referral to treatment pathways
