Job summary
An exciting opportunity to join the Sleep Physiology Services in pursuing a Postgraduate Certificate in Sleep Medicine is now available, equipping individuals with the knowledge and skills to develop a career within sleep physiology.
This is an intensive, 12-month training programme combining the best of both worlds by offering a comprehensive academic curriculum through the Postgraduate Certification in Sleep Medicine to be delivered by the University of the West of England and the invaluableexperience of real-world application through work-based learning.
This is a full-time post and there is an expectation that the trainee will attend the University of the West of England for 5 onsite block weeks along with weekly online sessions and completing a work based competency portfolio. It is expected to successfully complete the training programme within the contracted period. A commit to self-directed study is essential.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will undertake a 12-month training programme as a Sleep Practitioner Trainee and will complete a Post graduate Certification in Sleep Medicine at the University of the West of England which will include attending 5 onsite block weeks during the programme.
