Job summary

The Older Adults unit at the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust has an exciting opportunity for an effective, innovative, knowledgeable and clinically focussed senior leader to support the Older Adult team in delivering quality and innovative agenda's.

Ward 76B is looking for a dynamic individual to lead the nursing team within our Older Adult Wards.

The post holder will have excellent communication skills, and have the ability, drive, and enthusiasm to motivate a new team to provide high quality care.

Ward 76B is a 19 bedded female Older Adult ward. The ward cares for patients with a variety of medical conditions for e.g Falls, UTI, Pneumonia, advancing Dementia and frailty.

Main duties of the job

You will be a role model for staff and ensure all grades are supported in their work. You will have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and have high clinical standards and the ability to lead a team. You must be able to set clear direction and be collaborative in your approach, working in line with the Trust Values and People Strategy is essential.
