Job summary
To support the Lead Care Coach and Senior Care Coach in the development and delivery of education and support programmes for Nursing/ Maternity Assistants within the UHNM.
Promote and implement initiatives aimed at developing and enhancing the quality of Nursing Assistants and support them in their continuing professional development to enable them to achieve agreed competencies.
Act as a credible and professional role model; supporting the Lead Care Coach and senior care coaching the pastoral role for Nursing/Maternity Assistants within the post holders defined clinical area of responsibility.
Ensure that all members of the multidisciplinary team adopt a collaborative approach to patient care, placing the patient at the centre of all decision making and promote the importance of fundamental care at all times. Report directly to the Lead Care Coach and Senior Care Coach for Nursing/Maternity Assistants.
Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the care coach team and support with the development and delivery of education and training programmes for nursing assistants within the UHNM. Main duties and focus of responsibilities include the promotion and implementation of local and national initiatives aimed at developing and enhancing the quality of nursing assistants and support them in their continuing professional development to enable them to achieve agreed and required competencies.
