Job summary

The AMU (Acute Medical Unit) at Royal Stoke UHNM comprises of 58 beds over a 2 ward template, incorporated in this bed base are 12 beds for enhanced care-level 1 care. The AMU sits under the emergency care directorate and currently have 2 vacancies for a senior staff nurse to join the senior nursing team, 1 permanent post and 1 seconded post to cover maternity leave. The successful candidates will shares our vision in the provision of clinical excellence. If you are a quality driven person wishing to deliver a high quality service to our patients and their families, have the ability to work well within a dynamic and challenging environment and have a passion to develop specialist nursing skills and assist in the management and leadership of our junior staff, we would love to hear from you. The successful candidate will follow a competency framework package designed for AMU for all band 6's to ensure you are developed to your full potential.
