Job summary
This is a 6 month termed contract until 31/03/2024 which has the potential to extend subject to funding.
The role will predominantly be based on a mobile MRI scanner at The Royal Stoke Hospital Site however staff may be required to work in the static scanners at Royal Stoke, County Hospital , Stafford or any mobile scanner location in the Stoke-on-Trent area
Staff will be expected to support fast , efficient and safe high patient throughput while producing consistently high quality standard examinations.
Main duties of the job
Producing high quality standard MRI examinations in a safe efficient manner
To liase with management if there are any clinical problems or concerns
To follow all Trust policies and procedures and uphold the Trusts core values

- HCPC registered radiographer
Administrative

- Clear, polite telephone manner
- Familiar with CRIS radiology system
- Evidence of continuing Professional Development
- Prioritisation / planning. Ability to organise self and flexibly manage own daily workload.
Clinical expereince
Essential
- Clinical MRI experience in a busy acute hospital
- Understands the physical principles of MRI
