The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) college tutor is integral to the delivery of training in clinical radiology and the maintainence of quality assurance. They are responsible for supporting supervisors & educators in the delivery of the training programmes to all trainees and supporting the professional development of SAS & locally employed doctors within their department. They should work to maintain a learning environment which is challenging, supportive and, where appropriate, multi-professional.

- Completed necessary ES training and be a recognised Supervisor by GMC

- Postgraduate qualification in education
Clinical Experience & Training

- Experience of teaching and training colleagues gained as an Educational Supervisor
- Have received appropriate training in selection methods and training in equality and diversity
Skills, Ability & Knowledge
Essential
- Knowledge of management and governance structures in medical education and training and awareness of current processes in the delivery of medical education and training nationally and locally
- At least 2 years as Educational Supervisor
- Knowledge of GMC regulations, the Learning and Development Agreement with HEE/Deanery & Trust HR policies
