The Junior Operational Services Manager is a new post within the Childrens Outpatients Department at Staffordshire Childrens Hospital at the Royal Stoke University Hospital.

This exciting opportunity will be an evolving post adapting to meet the needs of the service, working closely with both nursing teams and the senior management team to ensure clinic efficiencies.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be required to assist the Directorate Management Senior Team in the efficient and effective operational management of resources within the Childrens Outpatient Department to deliver continually improving high quality patient care within the resources available.

The post holder will need to assist and where appropriate lead Divisional projects, providing regular update reports on the progress of work and additionally be able to work flexibly in order to deliver the Directorate agenda and to offer support to other colleagues including cover in times of absence

It may also be necessary for the post holder to provide general administrative support to the Division, ensuring in particular that supporting services are delivered effectively in the interests of patient care.
