Job summary
Our A&E Department are seeking a Band 3 Progress Chaser to work via our Admin Bank.
The role is based at Royal Stoke University Hospital in the A&E Department.
They are seeking somebody who has experience with Careflow and iPortal. The tasks involve working with the Nurse in Charge and Duty Manager of A&E to prevent 12 hour breaches. You will be scanning notes, chasing patient results and escalating issues appropriately.
The posting initially is Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm. After training the working hours will be between 7:00am and 10:30pm. The role starts as soon as possible.
Main duties of the job
You will need to be competent with Microsoft Office, ideally have experience working with Careflow and iPortal. You must be enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible. You will be a self-starter, organised, reliable and an excellent communicator who is able to work with a variety of staff. Previous experience in a hospital would be an advantage though not essential.
