Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and reliable individual to join our team here within Surgery at the University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust. We currently have a vacancy on Ward 103 Emergency Surgical Ward.

We are committed to providing high quality and patient focused care within a busy surgical inpatient ward. The team on Ward 103 ethos centres around showing a great passion for providing a high standard of individualised patient care.

Ward 103 work hard to adhere to the trust's key values and places great emphasis on staff development and wellbeing.

Main duties of the job

Patient Focused care

Supporting Qualified nursing staff with the implementation of assessment and implementation of appropriate care plans

Basic computer management including the admission, transfer and discharge of patients

Opportunity to gain skills in venepuncture.
