We have an exciting opportunity for a new Assistant Director to lead on organisational development, culture and inclusion for our Trust. Do you have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills? Reporting into the Deputy Chief People Officer, you will have a balance of hands on delivery whilst leading the delivery of key elements of our ambitious people strategy. You will be a highly experienced senior OD professional who has previously worked as Head of OD or similar.
You will provide expertise and insights to our clinical and non-clinical teams working closely with the People Teams, divisional colleagues and partner organisations across our wider healthcare system. You will take the lead on building leadership capacity and capability across the organisation including the advancement of leadership and employee engagement, employee wellbeing, culture change and diverse and inclusive practices. Overseeing key elements of our People Strategy - Making UHNM a Great Place to Work you will help create a value-driven culture where inclusion and diversity are actively required as a catalyst for innovation and change.
The post holder will be a member of our People Leadership Team, working together to drive forward high performing and high quality people services.
Main duties of the job
Working to the Chief People Officer and Deputy Chief People Officer, the Assistant Director of OD, Culture and Inclusion will support the Trust to deliver a robust programme that improves organisational performance primarily through developing the workforce and organisational culture. The post holder will co-ordinate and champion the development and delivery of the Trusts OD, Talent Management and Leadership Development strategies.
The post holder will be a member of the People Leadership Team and as part of this Team will be responsible for developing the Trust's People Strategy and strategic delivery plan and monitoring the Trust's progress against this plan.
